6116cd help
So I have a 6116cd that I am restoring. It had a battery explode and cause some corrosion. I cleaned it up. When it would turn on, the sound would play but with what sounded like an old dial up static. Sometimes it would make the sound or no sound at all. But then do it after sitting. I am going to change the capacitors. I decided to try out soaking it in alcohol to clean up corrosion that maybe was hidden I couldn’t see. I figured I had nothing to lose. Well it soaked overnight and when I lifted it out, 3 smd capacitors came off. Upon inspection they didn’t look very healthy and we’re probably part of the problem. The problem is I can’t tell where they went. I can’t find a photo of it to compare. I can just cut my losses and order another logic board but something about this makes me not want to give up yet. Does anyone have a photo of the motherboard both back side and front that I could compare or any other suggestions.
