Got yellow? Salon Care 40? 30? 20?

I would like to say that a year ago when i first looked into this, you could get the Salon Care 40, in a Gallon jug,  and that was the stuff.
now its like all you get is 4 and 16 OZ bottles.

so i'm wondering if maybe it was Salon Care 30 or 20?
looks like you can still get Salon Care #20 in 1/2 gallon jugs, but i am not sure if that is strong enough to get the Yellow out of a vintage mac…

Anyone have any thoughts on this?

I'd ask Javier on the FB groups and find out for sure.  After all, he is Mr. Retr0brite...

You can get gallons of 40 vol in creme but not in clear. 20 vol is the strongest gallon jug in clear. For the dunking method, I use the clear in a hot water dilution. I found it provided more even results than the creme which seemed to leave uneven "burn" marks sometimes.

olePigeon got a gallon of, what, 3% H2O2, from Walmart.com for $20-something? Haven't heard how well it works, but I'd imagine it does.

Especially with a pinch of OxyClean as a catalyst.

Yes. UV light (sunshine), like 5:1 water:20 vol clear, a sprinkling of Oxy powder.
