IMac 27 2009 logic board upgrade?

I have a 2009 IMac 27 and I am greeting a black screen on intial boot up after the OS has been installed. I’m assuming the logic board is gone. Is there anyway possible to upgrade the logic board with a i5 board from another 27 or no.

Re: IMac 27 2009 logic board upgrade?

you may be able but its most likely just a dead video card.  Finding a new video card will be the issue, the motherboards dont normally go bad.
